11:15am to 12:45pm Workshop 1: Functional aspects of dancing the melody. Dancing the melody or dancing the basic Rhythm: Predictability of the leader’s movements by the follower. Specificity of the dance.
1:00pm to 2:30pm Workshop 2: The 5 elements matrix for improvising to the melody. Improvisation base that will allow you to improvise to any melody in all directions
BREAK: bring your own lunch! Enjoy a tea or coffee we will provide.
3:00pm to 4:30pm Workshop 3: Tango syncopated rhythms. Hone skills and understanding for a dancer’s capacity to embody and embrace syncopated tango (melodic) rhythms!

12:15pm to 1:45pm Workshop 4: Dancing the melody more deeply: Melodic phrases, accentuation system. What is the “melodic rhythm” and how to dance to it?
2:00pm to 3:30pm Workshop 5: Vals Musicality. Embodying vals musicality, unlocking the secrets of its structure, and thriving in it’s flow.

4:00pm to 5:30pm Workshop 6: Milonga Traspíe!! Understanding the music will open the doors to embodying the music. Milonga traspíe musicality is within our reach (and so is the movement called “traspíe”). Come learn with us how they are their own thing… but do complement each other.
