  • 12:30-2:00pm CLASS #1: Turning Possibilities

This class is an introduction to the possibilities of turning with pivots in tango, exploring the building blocks of the molinete. The molinete is both a musical and navigational tool for the social dancefloor.
Who will benefit: dancers who are seeking relaxation in their tango walk.

  • 2:30-4:00pm CLASS #2: Making Dynamic Turns
This class is all about fine tuning the adaptability skill required to navigate challenges both internal and external.
Internal challenges: cultivating confidence and calm in the midst of stress

External challenges: line of dance, starting options, partnership, musical

Who will benefit: dancers seeking to learn the molinete who want to feel equipped to navigate the unexpected events in the dance with ease.

  • 7-10:30pm Practi*Longa Suerte Loca with DJ Paul Akmajian! <Facebook Event Link>

SUNDAY, Feb-23

  • 12:30-2:00pm CLASS #3: The Dialogue of Taking Turns
This class is all about the foundational interpersonal skills of expressing and listening so that each turn is a co-creation between 2 dancers amidst a collective experience of the same song on a social dancefloor.

Who will benefit: dancers who want to gain sensitivity to the nuances of sharing what the music holds for us, in partnership and in community (the line of dance/ronda).

  • 2:30-4:00pm CLASS #4:  Esponjoso-Elastic Elements for Fun Turns.
Homage to Juan Lencina & his bien milonguero molinete - esponjoso y dinámico.  Juan Lencina was a gem of a human I (Graham) was lucky enough to learn from and socialize at milongas in Buenos Aires 2016. He passed the feeling of this gem to me on November 11, 2017.

Who will benefit: Any dancer who has taken previous classes this weekend and wants to dive deeper in their own molinete.

  • 4:00-5:30pm Sunday Practica
